Observance of Pesach (Passover) . . .
We are commanded to observe ONLY 2 Appointed Times between the evenings, namely Pesach (Passover) and Yom Kippur (Atonement) - See Lev 23:5 and Lev 23:32.

Exod 12:6
‘And you shall keep it until the [fourteenth day] of the same month. Then all the assembly of the congregation of Yisra’ĕl shall kill it [between the evenings].
Exod 12:8
‘And they shall eat the flesh on [that] night (of the 14th), roasted in fire – with unleavened bread and with bitter herbs they shall eat it (The festival of Unleavened Bread (Matzah) starts on the 15th day of Abib/Nisan).
In verse 6, the 14th DAY is mentioned, and in verse 8 THAT night (the night of the 14th) is mentioned.
Deut 16:5-7
“You are not allowed to slaughter the Passover within any of your gates which יהוה (YHUH) your Elohim gives you, but at the place where יהוה (YHUH) your Elohim chooses to make His Name dwell, there you slaughter the Passover in the [evening (of the 14th day)], at the going down of the sun, at the appointed time you came out of Mitsrayim. “And you shall roast and eat it in the place which יהוה (YHUH) your Elohim chooses, and in the [morning] you shall turn and go to your tents.

So many believers BLINDLY and IGNORANTLY follow the VAIN TRADITIONS of man because the masses are doing it. WHAT does Scripture teach about these TRADITIONS?

Pray against Halloween
Pray in the Name of Yahusha Mashiach (Messiah) that satanists, witches, and dabblers will not be successful in recruiting people into satanism and witchcraft through halloween parties and ongoing recruitment during this time.
Pray that Father Yahuah (YHUH) will protect all children from being spiritually and physically harmed by eating candy that has been prayed over and cursed by satanists.
(Some companies produce their own cursed candy and other candy is cursed by witches and satanists before they hand it out to trick-or-treaters.)
Pray that believers, especially "Christians" will heed to the conviction of the Ruach (Spirit) of Yahuah and understand that halloween is not of ELohim (Almighty), and that they will also understand that they are bringing judgment upon themselves and their children if they do not turn from this willful fellowship with demons. Pray they will repent from participating in halloween and all occult-related activities.
All believers should renounce [aloud] all the times they might have participated in halloween or any other occult related activities, such as using tarot cards, ouija boards, reading occult-themed books, watching occult related movies, etc. All believers need to clean their generational bloodlines as soon as possible after they are saved. They need to renounce all works of darkness in the name of Yahusha Mashiach.
Pray that Ab/Abbah (Father) Yahuah will create circumstances so that people and animals who are being prepared for ritual human and animal sacrifices will be able to escape. Pray that satan's followers will fall asleep, enabling innocent people and animals to escape from them. Pray for confusion in the camps of satan and his reign of darkness. Pray that Yahuah will work and perform miracles so that innocent people and animals can escape all planned sacrifices, dedications, and activities.
Yahuah is willing to do this and has done this mightily in the past in response to the prayers of His set-apart ones. Yahuah is against this evil and he does act if [His people] will believe and pray.
Pray that traffic accidents, fires, suicides, and all planned disasters will not be fulfilled as a result of curses during satan’s high days.
satan's followers conjure demons to work destruction during the time of halloween.
Also pray that all spells, curses, and various incantations will be cancelled and nullified in the spirit, rather than fulfilled during halloween.
Pray that people who escape sacrifices and dedications will surrender their lives to Yahuah (through His Son), and continue to grow in His knowledge and faithfulness to Him and His Word of truth.
Pray that [ignorant] satanists defect from satanism and turn to Yahuah. Pray that that will help all victims (humans and animals) who are being held escape - so they won't be sacrificed.
(Many witches and satanists who were conceived and reared for this purpose are being held for human sacrifice).
Pray that they will escape as well. Yahuah has done this before and will do so again.
Pray that Yahuah will cover witch-and-satanist [escapees] with his divine protection - so they will not be found and killed, nor their families tortured. Pray that they will soon be born from above and protected from being killed in retaliation should they come forward and speak out about these abominations.
Pray that Yahuah will intervene and create circumstances that will prevent any ceremonial sacrifices from taking place anywhere in the world during especially the months of October and November.
Pray that Yahuah will work in any way He deems necessary in order to stop any sacrifices and dedications, allowing all victims (humans and animals) to escape to permanent safety, and cause those who serve satan to be in awe of the power and fire of the real ELohim - the Most High of all creation, and turn to Him in sincere belief and repentance.

WHY would any believer choose to follow their "pastor/rabbi/prophet/priest", rather than Messiah?
WHY would any informed believer choose to take the [word] of fallible and corrupt "man" [ABOVE] that of Messiah, and all the other Prophets and Messengers of The Almighty?
WHY would any mature believer follow the teachings and doctrines of their spiritual leaders ABOVE the flawless [sinless] teachings of the greatest Teacher of all time - Messiah?
1Tim 4:1 But the Spirit distinctly says that in latter times some shall fall away from the belief, paying attention to misleading spirits, and teachings of demons.
WHY would any believer who claim to LOVE The Father and Son choose to follow the traditions of man, rather than the commands of ELohim (Almighty)?
If we study Scripture and stop listening to man's deceit, we will see that DISOBEYING or REJECTING the commands of ELohim comes at a price (read Deut 28:15-68) . . . those believers who knowingly choose man's traditions and doctrines over the commands of The Almighty, bring judgment upon themselves.
The Appointed Times (Moadim) of Almighty YHUH (YHWH) is His Command (NOT a suggestion) to all {who choose to guard His Teachings; Instructions; Commands; Laws (Torah), and are in covenant with Him}.

Thus, the appointed Times of YHUH (YHWH) did NOT fall away as many falsely teach and preach, as it was OBSERVED in the Renewed Covenant (New Testament) AS WELL! It was NOT nailed to a “cross”.
What was nailed to the tree was the certificate of debt against us (Col 2:14), NOT the Appointed Times or the Instructions/Commands/Laws (Torah) of YHUH!
Matt 26:19 And the taught ones (disciples) did as יהושע (Yahusha) had ordered them, and prepared the Passover. (See also Mar 14:16; Luk 22:8; Joh 2:23).
Even AFTER Messiah's death, His Disciples and Apostles STILL observed His Appointed Times . . .
1Cor 5:7-8 Therefore cleanse out the old leaven, so that you are a new lump, as you are unleavened. For also Messiah our Passover was offered for us. So then let us observe the festival, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of evil and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. (See also Acts 20:16)
Four (4) times in Lev, chapter 23, we are reminded that these laws pertaining to the Appointed Times are FOREVER UNTO ALL GENERATIONS (including ours) – see verses 14, 21, 31 and 41.
Let me also REMIND all reading this that the observance of YHUH’s Sabbaths is a SIGN of His ETERNAL COVENANT with us!
Exo 31:13 “And you, speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl (includes Jew and Gentile), saying, ‘My Sabbaths you are to guard, by all means, for it is a [sign] between Me and you throughout your generations, to know that I, YHUH am setting you apart.
Nobody, including any pastor or church can REFUTE, NULLIFY, DELETE or ALTER Almighty YHUH’s Eternal Appointed Times!

PLEASE NOTE
The [Lunar/Moon] Sabbath belief stating that the weekly 7th-day Sabbath is observed on the 08th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th day of every month (Lunar Sabbath) is NOT SCRIPTURAL. There is NO clear SCRIPTURAL evidence for such a belief - in fact, it CONTRADICTS Scripture as I will prove [from Scripture]. Will anyone reading the Sabbath commandment in Lev 23, or Exo 20 alongside the creation account come up with a "Lunar Sabbath" doctrine. There is no commandment anywhere in the Scriptures which says: "You shall have a worship day on every new moon. It is not reckoned as a normal day in the weekly recurring cycle. The day following the new moon of each month, six days shall work be done, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of Yahuah your Elohim. You shall do this for four weeks. Then, depending on whether the new month has started, you shall not engage in commerce or paid work for 1 or 2 days. Then you shall reset your week into the 'Six days shall work be done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest "pattern." Obviously Almighty YHUH (YHWH) never said any such thing, but this is the belief that most Lunar Sabbath keepers follow. This is nothing more than a belief of men because it is not taught and confirmed in the Scriptures. If YHUH (YHWH) was expecting man to work six days and keep the Sabbath on the seventh day on an uninterruptible recurring [weekly] cycle, it would be easy to see that all He needed to do was command us to do our work for six [consecutive] days, and rest on the seventh - no further explanation needed. And that is EXACTLY what He did. No new moon needed to determine the recurring [weekly] Sabbath-day! No relying on man's corruptible flesh to determine the [weekly] Sabbath-day of Yahuah - simply work 6 days and rest the 7th - nothing complicated about it. According to Strong’s Concordance . . . H24 – Abib means ear, green ears of corn {not maize} . . . from an unused root (meaning to be tender); green, i.e. A young ear of grain; hence, the name of the month Abib or Nisan -- Abib, ear, green ears of corn (not maize). So where does the barley come into people’s minds regarding Abib? It isn’t found in Scripture verses using this term, nor is it found in the Hebrew meaning of the word. According to Scripture (Gen 1:14) ONLY the luminaries (sun, moon and stars) are for signs and used to determine appointed times, days and years, NOTHING ELSE! See study below of WHY the ripening of the barley in Yerushalayim (Jerusalem) cannot determine or affect the start of the New Scriptural year!

It should be evident to all TRUTH-Seeking Believers that the [worldly] Gregorian Calendar is NOT the Scriptural Calendar.
We should also acknowledge that the Feasts or days which the majority of Believers celebrate, like Easter (instead of Passover), Valentines Day, Halloween, Christmas, Thanksgiving and others are NOT Scriptural Festivals and originate from the kingdom of Babylon/Babel . . . [we are commanded to COME OUT of her]. (Rev 18:4; Jer 51:6 and 45)! Hazon (Revelation) 17:5 and upon her forehead a name written, a secret: BAḆEL THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF THE WHORES AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. There are MANY DIFFERENT interpretations of the Scriptural Timeline. It is clear that TRUTH-Seeking Believers who observe YHUH (YHWH)'s Instructions (Torah) cannot follow Jewish or Christian customs, or even that of certain Messianic Groups. Some believe that a Scriptural day starts in the morning (light) and others believe it starts in the evening (at sunset). The same applies to when a weekly Sabbath starts. The same applies to when the Scriptural New Year starts, as well as if the New Moon is considered the New Moon with the conjunction or first crescent sighting of the New Moon. At least all TRUTH-Seeking Believers ACKNOWLEDGE that the seventh day, and NOT the first day of the week is the day that YHUH (YHWH) set apart and blessed as His Sabbath day (Bereshith (Gen) 2:2-3)! Shemoth (Exo) 31:13 "And you, speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl (represents all walking IN COVENANT with YHUH), saying, ‘My Sabbaths you are to guard, by all means, for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, to know that I, YHUH, am setting you apart". According to Scripture, the SUN is the greater light that Yahuah (YHUH (YHWH)) created! (Bereshith (Gen) 1:16) . . . I therefore believe that both the SUN and the MOON are used to determine the years, months, seasons and the ETERNAL Feast Days of YHUH - please read . . . Lev 23; Isa 66:23; 1Chr 23:31; Neh 10; Ps 104;19 and Jer 8:5-9. Dani'el (Dan) 7:25 and it speaks words against the Most High, and it ears out the set-apart ones of the Most High, and it intends to change appointed times(1) and law(2), and they are given into its hand for a time and times and half a time. (1) This is another word for festivals. (2) Changing the law of YHUH amounts to lawlessness (Torah-lessness). Read in 2Tas'loniqim (Thess) 2:3-12 about “the lawless one” and the “lawlessness” which will infiltrate the set-apart place, and also about Messiah’s judgment upon the lawless “prophets” in Mat 7:23, and lawless “believers” in Mat 13:41. The LUNAR Calendar (MOON) has many different variations (some of them indicating a thirteenth month - of which we DO NOT read about in Scripture). The SOLAR Calendar (SUN), has a fixed twelve month year, with no variations that cause confusion as with the different variations of the Lunar Calendar. In saying the above, we must take in consideration the role that the sun, stars and moon (luminaries) play in determining the Appointed Times of Almighty Yahuah (YHUH). May we allow the Qodesh Ruach (Set-Apart Spirit) of Yahuah (YHUH) to guide us [as to which Calendar to follow]! Should we observe and follow Jewish and even Messianic customs and traditions, or should we study Scripture for the answers ourselves? The answer should be obvious. Yod-Hay-Uau(Waw)-Hay (YHUH/YHWH’s) SCRIPTURAL Calendar
For over 2000 years, the Roman Empire (part of the babylonian kingdom) has controlled the calendar now used by the majority of nations of the world. The Roman calendar established in 46 bce by Julius Caesar with the help of his trusted mathematician Sosigenes replaced the calendar handed down by YHUH (YHWH) through ancient Israel.
This changing of YHUH’s "times and laws" by the Roman Empire fulfilled the prophecy in Dani'el 7:25.
Today, there are DIFFERENT interpretations of following YHUH's Scriptural Calendar. The one is the Lunar Calendar and is based on the moon phases. Another one is the Solar Calendar and is based on the sun, and yet another one is called the Soli-Lunar Calendar and is based on a COMBINATION of the sun and moon's positioning and cycles!
YirmeYAHU (Jeremiah) and the Book of Hanok (Enoch) foretold that sinful man would lose the ability to know “The Set Apart Times” of YHUH. Only in the Restoration Day of Yisra'EL would the real Set-Apart Calendar be restored. The various Jewish-Messianic lunar calendars produce Feast Days that are DAYS and often WEEKS apart. The "Babylonian Talmud" REVEALS that the Pharisees instituted a lunar calendar (adopted from the Babylonian-Persian religion beginning in 560 BY (before Yahusha), but unopposed after the death of the Yerushalayim (Jerusalem) Temple priests in 77 AY (after Yahusha)), disposing of the then [thousands year old priestly Scriptural calendar] of Hanok (Enoch) used by the Dawidic priestly linage.

Why TRUTH-Seeking Believers Celebrate Scriptural Appointed Times . . .

In our celebration of traditional holidays, the SCRIPTURAL Set-Apart days should not be excluded. The motive for the Believer to celebrate Scriptural set-apart days is neither to masquerade as quasi-Jews nor to plunder Jewish customs and traditions, but to honor what YHUH (YHWH) has instituted for ALL GENERATIONS.
And YHUH spoke to Mosheh, saying, “Speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl, and say to them, ‘The appointed times of YHUH, which you are to proclaim as set-apart gatherings, My appointed times, are these: (Wayyiqra (Leviticus) 23:1-2)
Please notice, YAHUAH said that it is His Appointed Times, NOT man’s . . . so it is NOT part of man’s laws or feasts that was abolished when Messiah YAHUSHA died on the execution pole or stake . . . it is YAHUAH’s commands and should be kept for all eternity. There is a significant difference.
Notice, He did not say these were the appointed times of the Jews or the appointed times of other Believers, but "the appointed times of YAHUAH". They are memorial days that all Believers, including Jews should celebrate. These appointed times were instituted by Father YAHUAH in the Old Testament (First Covenant) and reaffirmed by YAHUSHA in the New Testament (Renewed Covenant).
Sense the emmisary Sha'ul (Paul) tells us that "YAHUSHA is Master" (Pilippiyim (Philippians) 2:11), these appointed times find their deepest meaning in our Messiah. Here is perhaps the most compelling statement in the New Testament as to the continued influence and recognition of the Scriptural set apart days by the body of YAHUSHA in the first century, even among the Gentile Believing churches.
" . . . For even YAHUSHA our PASSOVER is sacrificed for us: Therefore let us keep the feast . . ."
(I Qorin'tiyim (Corinthians) 5:7-8)
It could not be said more clearly, "Therefore, let us keep the feast [of Passover]." Further evidence of first century Believers celebrating the feast days is found in the book of Acts.
". . . I have to keep this coming festival in Jerusalem by ALL MEANS . . ." (Ma'aseh (Acts) 18:21)
"For Sha'ul (Paul) had determined to sail past Ephesus, so that he might lose no time in Asia: for he was hurrying to be at Yerushalayim (Jerusalem), if possible, on the day of the festival of weeks (Pentecost) . . ."
(Ma'aseh (Acts) 20:16)
"But I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost." (1Qorin'tiyim (Corinthians) 16:8)
Every major event in Scriptural history occurred on a APPOINTED TIME . . .
The precise dates of Noah's Ark landing on Mt. Ararat, the exodus of Israel from Egypt, the giving of the law at Mt. Sinai, the dedication of Solomon's Temple, the birth of Messiah YAHUSHA, His death, burial and resurrection, the outpouring of the Qodesh Ruach (Set Apart Spirit) of YHUH, the second coming of Messiah, etc. are all prime examples of YAHUAH's faithfulness to His Appointed Times and seasons.
Proper recognition of these appointed days of memorial is being restored to the body of believers as a vital part of worship and celebration.
HISTORICAL PERSPECTIVE
Traditionally, Believers have not given formal recognition to the Scriptural appointed times (Wayyiqra (Leviticus 23). The preference has been to continue the honoring of such PAGAN traditional holidays as New Years, Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving and All Saints Day (Holy Evening or Halloween) etc. Interestingly, these are calendar days for which there is NO Scriptural support. How did this condition come about and who is responsible? There is certainly no record that the first century “church” ever celebrated the traditional holidays, as we know them. They were an "invention" of the subsequent church leadership. There is, however, abundant evidence to confirm that the early church continued to celebrate the biblical feast days.
By the beginning of the fourth century, Constantine, who had become both head of the "church" and Emperor of Rome, forbade the recognition of anything that remotely smacked of Jewishness to the point of imprisonment and even death. An example of this can be seen by the actions taken at the Council of Nicea in 325 AD. The “Church”, which had been commemorating the death and resurrection of YAHUSHA, changed the date for observing the resurrection to make it correspond with the pagan carnival Easter instead of what they considered to be the Scriptural feast of Passover. Today we are victims of that orchestrated effort and therefore Believers' sense of value for celebrating Scriptural Memorial Days became almost non-existent, but that is changing fast.
RESTORATION MATTERS
A better understanding of the Scriptural Appointed Times in the light of the Teachings of YAHUSHA, our Messiah is being fully restored to the BODY of BELIEVERS. Still the question invariably arises, but what about the New Testament Scriptures, which seemingly discourage the practice of observing "special days"? Such conclusions are often drawn as a result of misinformation, faulty interpretation of scripture, unbelief, and fear and with some degree of hypocrisy. For example, the following scripture is often cited as a proof text for non- observance of Scriptural feast days:
"You observe days and months and seasons and years. I fear for you, lest by any means I have laboured for you in vain."
Galatiyim (Galatians) 4:10-11
Here is a classic example of faulty interpretation of Scripture. This reference has nothing to do with appointed times. Paul's statement to the Galatians is concerning their returning to former pagan or heathen practices. Clearly he is not speaking of the Scriptural celebrations. This is borne out in the very structure of the letter itself. Notice, this was something they were re-instituting that they had been practicing when they worshiped false gods (see verse nine). The Galatians had never celebrated Scriptural appointed days. They were Gentiles, therefore, they could not have been returning to the scriptural festivals as some might claim.
The truth is -- few Believers actually believe this Scripture to be absolute or if they do, their actions are inconsistent with their beliefs. If taken at face value, we would simply have to refrain from celebrating or memorializing any "days" religious or secular. As it now is, we often go to great lengths and great expense both at home and in “church” to celebrate such times as New Years, Christmas, Easter, birthdays, anniversaries, Mother's Day, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, etc. To be sure, we "observe days" and they are often accompanied with great pageantry and extravaganza. The point is that many have somehow concluded that apparently we are free to celebrate any holidays except the true scriptural days; these are somehow forbidden and viewed as being strictly Jewish and therefore anti-Yahusha, non-Messianic and indeed dangerous. Yet the ones we have arbitrarily created for ourselves which have NO scriptural support are somehow "safe" and honorable, even sacred. Again, Paul's reference here is concerning pagan holidays and not YAHUAH's ordained appointed days, which the same writer had encouraged the "church" to keep!

Here is another example of faulty interpretation of Scripture concerning special days.
"Let no one therefore judge you in eating or in drinking, or in respect of a festival, or a new moon, or Sabbaths:" (Qolasim (Colossians) 2:16)
This is not an indictment against appointed day celebrations, but a caution about judgmental attitudes by those not obeying the Appointed Times of YHUH. One would be hard pressed to find anyone who practices this as is commonly interpreted. The truth is - there are on-going judgmental attitudes manifested in the “church” about meats, drinks, set-apart days and Sabbath observance. Those who don't observe such things tend to reflect on those who do as "legalists" (strict adherents to the Law). Those who observe them quite often view those who don't as unrighteous or at best, second-class citizens of the Kingdom. Simply stated, "those who do judge those who don't and those who don't judge those who do" and on it goes. The question arises -- what do Scriptures teach? That should be our FINAL authority and guideline as to how we choose to observe YAHUAH'S laws and right rulings. Yet the Yahusha-like attitude is "Judge not"!
(MattitYahu (Matthew 7:1).
The emmisary (apostle) Paul gives similar advice to the church in Rome.
A MATTER of WORSHIP
Our motive in celebration should be as YAHUAH originally intended; remembrance and honor for what He has done. YAHUAH said His appointed times were to be celebrated "forever" (Ex 12:14; Lev 23:14, 21, 31 & 41). If YAHUAH never changes, and we have His word on that He does not (Mal'aki (Malachi) 3:6), it is obvious that He still desires to be worshiped in this manner. The appointed days retain a deep abiding meaning for the Believer since their fullness (not termination) is found in YAHUSHA, our Messiah. It is safe to say that the Believer has as much reason for celebrating these appointed times as does the Jew and perhaps even more (1Qorin'tiyim (Corinthians) 5:8). The feast days contain more divine information, spiritual lessons and prophetic reflections than perhaps any subject of Scripture. Subsequently, it is through our deliberate recognition and celebration of them that the riches of truth contained in them is released for our understanding.
The question before us is; should Believers celebrate the Appointed Times of Almighty YAHUAH? Clearly we should. Why? Because they are Scriptural, Yahusha-centered and YAHUAH ordained. While these APPOINTED TIMES may not be essential to salvation, they are certainly essential for set-apart worship in the [true] body of Believers. Reason simply dictates this conclusion.

It could not be said more clearly, "Therefore, let us keep the feast [of Passover]." Further evidence of first century Believers celebrating the feast days is found in the book of Acts.
". . . I have to keep this coming festival in Jerusalem by ALL MEANS . . ." (Ma'aseh (Acts) 18:21)
"For Sha'ul (Paul) had determined to sail past Ephesus, so that he might lose no time in Asia: for he was hurrying to be at Yerushalayim (Jerusalem), if possible, on the day of the festival of weeks (Pentecost) . . ."
(Ma'aseh (Acts) 20:16)
"But I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost." (1Qorin'tiyim (Corinthians) 16:8)
Every major event in Scriptural history occurred on a APPOINTED TIME . . .
The precise dates of Noah's Ark landing on Mt. Ararat, the exodus of Israel from Egypt, the giving of the law at Mt. Sinai, the dedication of Solomon's Temple, the birth of Messiah YAHUSHA, His death, burial and resurrection, the outpouring of the Qodesh Ruach (Set Apart Spirit) of YHUH, the second coming of Messiah, etc. are all prime examples of YAHUAH's faithfulness to His Appointed Times and seasons.
Proper recognition of these appointed days of memorial is being restored to the body of believers as a vital part of worship and celebration.
HISTORICAL PERSPECTIVE
Traditionally, Believers have not given formal recognition to the Scriptural appointed times (Wayyiqra (Leviticus 23). The preference has been to continue the honoring of such PAGAN traditional holidays as New Years, Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving and All Saints Day (Holy Evening or Halloween) etc. Interestingly, these are calendar days for which there is NO Scriptural support. How did this condition come about and who is responsible? There is certainly no record that the first century “church” ever celebrated the traditional holidays, as we know them. They were an "invention" of the subsequent church leadership. There is, however, abundant evidence to confirm that the early church continued to celebrate the biblical feast days.
By the beginning of the fourth century, Constantine, who had become both head of the "church" and Emperor of Rome, forbade the recognition of anything that remotely smacked of Jewishness to the point of imprisonment and even death. An example of this can be seen by the actions taken at the Council of Nicea in 325 AD. The “Church”, which had been commemorating the death and resurrection of YAHUSHA, changed the date for observing the resurrection to make it correspond with the pagan carnival Easter instead of what they considered to be the Scriptural feast of Passover. Today we are victims of that orchestrated effort and therefore Believers' sense of value for celebrating Scriptural Memorial Days became almost non-existent, but that is changing fast.
RESTORATION MATTERS
A better understanding of the Scriptural Appointed Times in the light of the Teachings of YAHUSHA, our Messiah is being fully restored to the BODY of BELIEVERS. Still the question invariably arises, but what about the New Testament Scriptures, which seemingly discourage the practice of observing "special days"? Such conclusions are often drawn as a result of misinformation, faulty interpretation of scripture, unbelief, and fear and with some degree of hypocrisy. For example, the following scripture is often cited as a proof text for non- observance of Scriptural feast days:
"You observe days and months and seasons and years. I fear for you, lest by any means I have laboured for you in vain."
Galatiyim (Galatians) 4:10-11
Here is a classic example of faulty interpretation of Scripture. This reference has nothing to do with appointed times. Paul's statement to the Galatians is concerning their returning to former pagan or heathen practices. Clearly he is not speaking of the Scriptural celebrations. This is borne out in the very structure of the letter itself. Notice, this was something they were re-instituting that they had been practicing when they worshiped false gods (see verse nine). The Galatians had never celebrated Scriptural appointed days. They were Gentiles, therefore, they could not have been returning to the scriptural festivals as some might claim.
The truth is -- few Believers actually believe this Scripture to be absolute or if they do, their actions are inconsistent with their beliefs. If taken at face value, we would simply have to refrain from celebrating or memorializing any "days" religious or secular. As it now is, we often go to great lengths and great expense both at home and in “church” to celebrate such times as New Years, Christmas, Easter, birthdays, anniversaries, Mother's Day, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, etc. To be sure, we "observe days" and they are often accompanied with great pageantry and extravaganza. The point is that many have somehow concluded that apparently we are free to celebrate any holidays except the true scriptural days; these are somehow forbidden and viewed as being strictly Jewish and therefore anti-Yahusha, non-Messianic and indeed dangerous. Yet the ones we have arbitrarily created for ourselves which have NO scriptural support are somehow "safe" and honorable, even sacred. Again, Paul's reference here is concerning pagan holidays and not YAHUAH's ordained appointed days, which the same writer had encouraged the "church" to keep!
(1 Qorin'tiyim (Corinthians) 5:7-8).
Here is another example of faulty interpretation of Scripture concerning special days.
"Let no one therefore judge you in eating or in drinking, or in respect of a festival, or a new moon, or Sabbaths:" (Qolasim (Colossians) 2:16)
This is not an indictment against appointed day celebrations, but a caution about judgmental attitudes by those not obeying the Appointed Times of YHUH. One would be hard pressed to find anyone who practices this as is commonly interpreted. The truth is - there are on-going judgmental attitudes manifested in the “church” about meats, drinks, set-apart days and Sabbath observance. Those who don't observe such things tend to reflect on those who do as "legalists" (strict adherents to the Law). Those who observe them quite often view those who don't as unrighteous or at best, second-class citizens of the Kingdom. Simply stated, "those who do judge those who don't and those who don't judge those who do" and on it goes. The question arises -- what do Scriptures teach? That should be our FINAL authority and guideline as to how we choose to observe YAHUAH'S laws and right rulings. Yet the Yahusha-like attitude is "Judge not"!

The emmisary (apostle) Paul gives similar advice to the church in Rome.
A MATTER of WORSHIP
Our motive in celebration should be as YAHUAH originally intended; remembrance and honor for what He has done. YAHUAH said His appointed times were to be celebrated "forever" (Ex 12:14; Lev 23:14, 21, 31 & 41). If YAHUAH never changes, and we have His word on that He does not (Mal'aki (Malachi) 3:6), it is obvious that He still desires to be worshiped in this manner. The appointed days retain a deep abiding meaning for the Believer since their fullness (not termination) is found in YAHUSHA, our Messiah. It is safe to say that the Believer has as much reason for celebrating these appointed times as does the Jew and perhaps even more (1Qorin'tiyim (Corinthians) 5:8). The feast days contain more divine information, spiritual lessons and prophetic reflections than perhaps any subject of Scripture. Subsequently, it is through our deliberate recognition and celebration of them that the riches of truth contained in them is released for our understanding.
The question before us is; should Believers celebrate the Appointed Times of Almighty YAHUAH? Clearly we should. Why? Because they are Scriptural, Yahusha-centered and YAHUAH ordained. While these APPOINTED TIMES may not be essential to salvation, they are certainly essential for set-apart worship in the [true] body of Believers. Reason simply dictates this conclusion.
